Jeff’s making the best of a bad situation

Lately, I’ve heard short sales being compared to going through a nasty divorce.  Making the best of a bad situation. I strongly disagree. Short sales in my book, are a lifeline. Without short sales, nobody wins and everybody loses.  THAT’S WHAT I THINK WHEN I HEAR THE WORD DIVORCE. With short sales, there’s hope.  Hope for the homeowner, hope for the banker and hope for the real estate agent, as well as the buyer. Sure nobody really makes a killing, but considering the alternatives…

Short sales are the way to go.

I suspect that the reason people struggle with short sales, is they really don’t understand them.  They really don’t know how to get them done effectively yet. Human nature dictates that people usually fear things they don’t know or understand. So I guess we have our work cut out for us, don’t we?
