Many people struggle with the first steps to making money in real estate.  Especially right now when there’s so much fear uncertainty and doubt in the air.

I can tell you from not only my experience, but the experience of thousands of my students, coaches and partners–there couldn’t be a better time to get started.  Deals, viable properties, are everywhere.

1. The Obama administrataion has recently embraced short sales as a primary pillar to getting the US real estate values realigned and to get the US economy back on it’s feet.

2. Many people think if they can’t pay their mortgage, they have no choice but to go into foreclosure.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Homeowners have several options at their disposal.

3. Many investors think they have to have capital or great credit to invest in real estate right now.  Again, those are fallacies.

4. Many investors believe things about the banking process and mortgages that just aren’t true.  The banks WILL work with you.  The banks really WANT to work with you.  Mortgages can be deeply discounted.  It’s not hard and it doesn’t have to take a long time.

The challenge is most investors do NOT know how to work with the banks and other lenders. When you hear things like “short sales take a long time,” this normally indicates the the person does not know how to work with the bank.

That stated all is for naught, if you can’t even find a doable deal.
